In 1996, Dr. Carlos Sanchez Ortiz de Salazar disappeared without a trace from his home in Cazalla de la Sierra, Spain. His disappearance would be a puzzle for a long time. It would be 20 years before some mushroom pickers in Italy made an unexpected discovery that would finally shed some light on the mystery.

Carlos Sanchez Ortiz de Salazar was born in Bilbao, Spain. Before he went missing, he got a degree in medicine.

Carlos was well liked by his patients as a doctor. His patients say that he was a wise and responsible doctor. Everyone said that Carlos was meant to be a doctor from birth.

Carlos is both a doctor and a psychologist. He has a degree in both fields. Not only that, but he also knows a lot of languages and is very good at them.

But one day in November 1996, everyone was surprised to hear that Carlos had not gone to work. Carlos’s parents rushed to his house, but when they got there, they found that Carlos had left. But Carlos’s disappearance left no traces or signs.

Later, Carlos’s parents called the police to report that he was missing. Then the police, local volunteers, family…
