Daniel Holtzclaw, whose given name is Daniel Ken Holtzclaw, was born on December 10, 1986, in Guam, United States, under the name Daniel Holtzclaw. His parents, Eric and Kumiko Holtzclaw, are of blended Japanese ancestry. In addition, Daniel also has two sisters, Jenny and Julie.

After graduating from high school, Daniel pursued a degree in criminal justice at Eastern Michigan University. Daniel joined the Oklahoma Police Department in 2010 after graduating from high school. Daniel, who also has a girlfriend, is said to be a gentleman of excellent character who is polite and well-liked.

On the evening of June 18, 2014, the true narrative begins. Jannie Ligons, a black woman 57 years old, was traveling on a deserted road that night. A police patrol car intercepted the vehicle driven by Jannie shortly thereafter. Janie, who already had 12 grandchildren, was then instructed to halt on the side of the road.
