Omaima Aree Nelson is an Egyptian-American model who was convicted of murdering her husband, William Nelson. She is currently in prison at the Central California Women’s Facility in Chowchilla, California, where she is serving a life sentence. Allegations of bondage sex, beheading, castration, and cannibalism made her case news around the world.

Born and raised in Egypt, Omaima Aree Nelson came to the United States in 1986.

Omaima allegedly met William Nelson in 1991 while playing pool in a bar. William was a pilot before he was convicted of marijuana smuggling in 1984. After serving four years in a federal prison, he was released on parole and began working for Cannon Mortgage.
