Mother Who Lets Her Three-Year-Old Girl to Die of Starvation While Visiting Her Boyfriend

An uproar erupted in Japan following the death of a three-year-old baby named Noa who died in an apartment in the Ota Ward area. It was a complete waste of Noa’s life that she was left alone by her mother for an entire week while she went on a date. Saki Kakehashi allegedly told authorities she didn’t anticipate her daughter Noa to die when she left her in Tokyo to see her lover.
Saki Kakehashi, a 24-year-old bar waitress, allegedly left her daughter Noa alone at her Ota Ward house between June 5 and 13, 2020, while she traveled in Kagoshima Prefecture to meet her boyfriend.
On June 13, after returning from her trip, Kakehashi reportedly called the emergency hotline to report that her daughter was not breathing properly. Noa was taken to the hospital, where she was later pronounced dead.
