Grandma Kidnapped and Murdered a 5-Year-Old Boy Because He Was More Adorable and Intelligent Than Her Own Grandson

In July of 2015, Li Xiuling, a 52-year-old Chinese woman, was detained in central China’s Henan Province on suspicion of murdering the 5-year-old son of her neighbor out of envy over his good health.

When the child went missing from his home in Hao Village, Xinxiang County, Henan Province, central China, she was taken into custody.

The youngster, known as Wang Minghan, vanished on July 8, 2015, while he was playing at his front door. On the scene, just his slippers were discovered.

She brought the youngster to her house, strangled him to death, and then buried him in her own courtyard. She later felt regret for her conduct.

Reports say that Minghan’s grandmother was in the house at the time he was taken, but she didn’t know he’d been taken until she saw his shoes still at the front door.
